OIT has recently added 24/7 live chat to MyBobcat so students, faculty and staff can connect with the help desk. There you can receive direct and immediate assistance, check on the status of a ticket, etc.
Here are some instructions on how to access the live chat:
1. Go to mybobcat.stu.edu.
2. Sign in using your STU credentials.

3. On the left-hand side of the screen, scroll down to the Help Desk window, then click on the Live Chat option.
4. Fill out the form and click Start Chat. The help desk will be with you shortly.
